About Raise and Rest

raiseandrest is a specialist website for parents and caregivers in Asia. It provides news and reference information organised by a child's age, from before birth through to the teenage years. Each month, the site highlights the key question or challenge commonly raised by that specific age. The content is divided into practical sections including Feeding, Sleep, Development & behaviour, School & family life, Safety, and Money and admin.

Our news stories are produced by rewriting information from clearly named and linked external sources, such as government health departments, academic journals, and official statistical bodies. These reports are checked against each other for consistency and accuracy. Every article carries a clear publication date, and no facts, figures, or quotes are invented.

The site builds permanent reference pages including Age stage guides, Topic guides, and Country-specific advice. These also cover Safety standards, Exam systems, and television or educational Programmes. Each reference entry is built around a table of key facts, is divided into clear sections, and is illustrated with a real, credited photograph. These pages are reviewed and updated when public guidance or common coverage changes.

raiseandrest is editorially independent and is not affiliated with any government, commercial brand, charity, or educational institution it may report on. The site carries no betting or gambling-related content. Any errors identified in our content are corrected promptly, and a record of substantive corrections is maintained openly at raiseandrest.com/corrections.

For any queries or to suggest a correction, please use the contact form at raiseandrest.com/contact. This site aims to be a plain, reliable, and useful factual resource for the practical questions of family life.
